Inaugural Adress Analysis

After looking at exactly what our lovely presidents say I came up with a few observations:

  • Although a lot of our people were not free in the 1700's, 1800's and 1900's it seems as if our presidents in the 2000's used  the word "freedom" more.
  • Years 1853-1893 we went through of a group of presidents that really enjoyed facial hair.
  • George Bush Senior had the world "hand" in his most popular. Maybe a fasination with his hands? hm.
  • None of our presidents were completly bald ever
  • John F. Kennedy was the only man to have "side" in his list of most popular words.

  1. These are really interesting observations. I didn't notice the "freedom" thing, but that's a really interesting point. Maybe it's because of the freedoms fought for by women and minorities?

Also, it's funny we've never had a bald president. We only have a couple fat presidents, too, I think. And I believe only a couple short ones. Obviously, they have to look a certain way to be elected. Warren G. Harding was a candidate and elected purely because he LOOKED like a president and yet turned out to be not a very good president in the opinions of most. I just think that's really interesting.
